Progress in development of wireless communication networks for the last ten years was very successful and it made possible to grow capacity and speed of wireless networks up to 10 times. There are many distinctive features of modem wireless networks, such as: high service quality, wide range of available services and mobile terminals support. They made possible the development of LTE (LongTermEvolution) — wireless communication standard. LTE supports scalable carrier bandwidths (from 1.4 MHz to 20 MHz) , has the ability to manage fast-moving mobiles and supports multi-cast and broadcast streams. Support of both FDD (FrequencyDivisionDuplexing) and TDD (TimeDivisionDuplexing) let us to provide more flexible assignment of available frequency band and that is confirmation of numerous benefits over other wireless communication standards.
Main goal of this work was creation of software program as solution for frequency band capacity planning of wireless LTE networks. One of the goals of this work was creation of wireless network in u.t.s. Mimiy, importance of improving innovation technologies of wireless communication with use of LTE standard were noticed. Overall characteristics of network frequency-territorial planning was done, therefore «universal» option of network organization was chosen. Also was done analyze of different network availability and their quality of service. IP-protocol, which is used for network traffic management, is a base component of engineered LTE network. Calculation of network capacity, LTE network hardware planning and network coverage planing were made. Algorithm for wireless network characteristics calculations was developed, in addition to software, which made possible to do this calculations. Developed software solve problem of frequency-territorial planning for wireless LTE networks.
