The content of corporate planning as a function of industrial enterprise is reasonable definition of the main directions of development of production and proportion of material with the sources of its software and the demand of the market. The essence of planning is manifested in a more focused development of the company and each department for a specified period of time; defining management objectives, means to achieve them, the timing and sequence of implementation, identification of material, human and financial resources necessary for the task.
Thus, the purpose of planning as a management function is an effort to take into account as far as possible in advance of all the internal and external factors that provide favorable conditions for the normal functioning and development of enterprises. It includes the development of a set of measures that determine the sequence of specific objectives, taking into account opportunities best use of resources by each production unit and the whole enterprise. So planning is to ensure mutual coordination between the individual structural units of the company engaged in the entire process chain: research and development, production and marketing. This activity is based on the detection and forecasting of consumer demand, the analysis and evaluation of available resources and the development prospects of the economic situation. Hence the need to link planning with marketing and control, to the constant adjustment of production and sales following the changes in market demand.
Due to the fact that every company needs to plan their activities for the moment has created a variety of software products that address a broad range of tasks and enable managers to make the most correct decisions about their businesses. But all the products of this kind are very complex systems, and require long-term implementation of the enterprise. Also the cost of such products is very high, so the development of an alternative to these systems is relevant.
The aim of this work is to develop a software tool that is shared with Microsoft Project Server 2010 would allow performing planning future development of the enterprise. To this end, Microsoft Project project portfolio, based on which the process of developing program selects the projects that are most appropriate to include in the portfolio. *
